Piping and plant fittings
All projects are designed in close collaboration with the customer. We can provide project advice and engineering services leaving project implementation to the customer. Alternatively, we can provide full project management from the engineering stages right through to completion and commissioning. Customers can choose single-wall or double-jacket (water-heated) piping made from steel or stainless steel. The choice of piping depends on cost considerations and the type of medium being pumped. Pumps are selected on the basis of the medium being pumped and taking into account the pressure drops in the pipeline. The fixtures and fittings are selected to match the application.
For the control of pumps and equipment customers can choose between a simple solution and the more complex SCADA program.
The photographs show a project where we installed a stainless steel pipeline for pumping liquid chocolate. The double-jacket pipes are heated using the heat exchange principle and kept at a constant temperature of 45°C. Pipeline components such as butterfly valves are pneumatically operated. Sensors controlling the pumps provide full control of media pumping.
